'One' is the first release of emerging bedroom producer Louis Bullock, a melancholy, thoughtful trek, telling of the vibrancy and sorrow in life.
Convex pulls the listener along, yearning, striving, progressing forwards, rising upwards, then back to the start, slowing, the pace is steady, preparing for the journey ahead.
Rise is an analysis of routine, the everyday, the weight of existing. The main lead keeps us steady footed, a reminder of how we're expected to be. In its crescendo, all melody falls away, nothing recognisable musically, only the grating, harshness that underlies reality.
Onwards you march towards Night, an atonal dream attacked by lo-fi drums before falling into machine-like distortion.
Icarus calls you, dual melodies developing, falling, as Icarus did in his efforts to escape.
Troubled is the soundtrack to walking the streets at night, its the fear of people's motives, intentions, it's anxiety, thoughts that trouble you, insomnia, the shadows.
Hollow is the reverse of Convex, starting slow, positive, uplifting. As it ends, it breathes its last, a final cry.

I'd like to thank everybody I have met throughout my life. You have all affected me in the greatest of ways, helped shaped me, helped me grow, and I truly appreciate that, and appreciate each and every one of you.
My music is one of the personal outlets for me to express myself from within, and I'm glad I can share this with you all, to have others to follow me along my journey, to experience the wonder, the beauty, the poetry of life, the good and bad.
Works of mine wouldn't exist without experiences, without involvement of others in my life, without you sharing yourselves with me.
